Have you heard rumors about all the magnificent things you can do with just vinegar? Not only is vinegar a condiment, it is an extremely useful tool we can use to clean our kitchens, bathrooms, and even our laundry! Below are a few ways you can use vinegar to clean different areas of your home.

Vinegar in the Kitchen:

  1. Want your coffee mugs and teacups to look like new? Simply scrub any stains with vinegar and salt.
  2. If you have buildup on your kitchen faucet just mix up some salt and vinegar, apply it to the buildup, and rub it off with a warm washcloth.
  3. You can use vinegar or lemons to eliminate the cloudy film that you may find on your blender, Ninja or Nutribullet.

Vinegar In the Bathroom

  1. To clean the inside of your toilet pour distilled white vinegar in your toilet bowl and let it sit for several hours, scrub with a toilet brush and flush.
  2. To kill unwelcome bathroom germs, simply spray affected areas with vinegar and wipe down with a wet washcloth.
  3. To rid any odor, dampen a cloth with vinegar and wipe down any plastic surfaces.

Vinegar and your Laundry

  1. Vinegar can substitute for softener, just add half of a cup to the last rinse cycle.
  2. For worn down leather, revamp it by wiping it down with white distilled vinegar.
  3. Do you have worn down socks? Soak them in a vinegar solution made with 1/2 cup of distilled vinegar and boiling water to get them back to new!
